At Historique Couture, every order is prepared and shipped with great care and attention. Because many creations are handmade, one-of-a-kind or delicate couture pieces, safe packaging and reliable shipment are considered an essential part of the service.

Processing Time

Most items offered on this webshop are unique, ready-made creations that are already in stock.

Once payment has been received, orders are usually shipped within 24 hours whenever possible.

Made-to-measure and custom orders are handled individually in consultation with the customer. Production and shipping times for custom work depend on the complexity of the commission, materials and current atelier schedule.

Depending on the destination and type of shipment, Historique Couture works with reliable European and international shipping companies, including:

The most suitable carrier is selected based on destination, parcel size and delivery reliability.

Track & Trace

As soon as the parcel has been shipped, the customer receives a Track & Trace code by email or direct message whenever available. This allows the shipment to be followed during transport.

Packaging

Every item is packaged extremely carefully to ensure it arrives safely and in excellent condition. Special attention is given to delicate fabrics, trims, hats, couture garments and historical costume pieces.

Protective packaging materials are used where necessary to prevent damage during transport.

Extra Insurance for High-Value Orders

Orders with a value above €250 are shipped with additional shipping insurance or damage coverage through the carrier whenever possible. This provides extra protection during transport for valuable handmade creations and couture pieces.

International Shipping

Historique Couture ships internationally whenever possible. Delivery times vary depending on destination country, customs procedures and carrier services.

Any customs duties, import taxes or local fees remain the responsibility of the buyer.
